Two days that started everything: a celebration of Gujarat beyond its borders, followed by the first NRI Salute India Awards, presented by Elaben Bhatt. The tradition of honouring the diaspora’s bridge-builders has not missed a year since.
The awards joined hands with Sadvichar Parivar, one of Gujarat’s most respected service organisations, to honour overseas Gujaratis whose work reaches back home.
A new award stream, born in Vadodara, for the setu ratnas: the jewels who act as bridges between India and its diaspora, from consular volunteers to community doctors.
Three days for the Gujarati world: NRI felicitations, the WAAH science awards, story writing honours, and a seminar that brought the editors of Gujarati publications from London, the USA and Mumbai onto one stage.
The federation’s 2025 programmes are being documented; this chapter will be completed with the client’s albums and event notes.
